Skilled Worker

A. Documentary Requirements

1. Completed Employment Contract (Prescribed POEA Form)

  • Must conform to UK/Ireland employment standards
  • Must contain provisions whereby employer undertakes to: (a) shoulder repatriation cost of employee's remains and personal property to the Philippines in case of loss of life, and (b) provide airfare from the Philippines to worksite. (please see sample employment contract form - Visit the Forms section.)
  • Must be notarised by a Solicitor/Notary Public in the UK/Ireland and legalized by the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office/Department of Foreign Affairs, Ireland, respectively.

2. Copy of Employer's Certificate of Registration or Incorporation

  • Must be certified true copy or authenticated, and thereafter legalized by the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office/Department of Foreign Affairs, Ireland

3. Photocopy of Work Permit

Note: For adaptation nurses, there is an additional requirement for a photocopy of Employer's Authority/Accreditation with Education providers for supervised training

B. Procedures

1. Present the above accomplished requirements to the Labor Section, Philippine Embassy;
2. If found complete and in order, the same will be processed, stamped and signed;
3. Pay the Verification Fee of £ 7.15 each for the employment contract and the Employer's certificate of registration/incorporation
Please pay in cash or postal money order only.
4. Present the Documents to the Consular Section, Philippine Embassy, and pay the authentication fee of £18.00 each for the employment contract and the employer's certificate of registration/incorporation
5. Wait for the release of the documents.

Domestic Worker


A. Documentary Requirements

1. Completed Employment Contract (Prescribed POEA Form) with one (1) photocopy

  • Secure copy from the Forms section for use or reference
  • Must be notarized by a Solicitor/Notary Public in the UK/Ireland and legalized by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO), UK/Department of Foreign, Ireland

2. Employer's Passport {Photocopy, data page only} and Contact details


B. Procedures

1. Present the above accomplished requirements to the Office of the Labor Attache, Philippine Embassy;
2. If found complete and in order, the same will be processed, stamped and signed;
3. Pay the Verification Fee - 7.15 GBP
4. Please pay in cash or postal money order only.
5. After verification, present the document to the Consular Section, Philippine Embassy, and pay 18.00 GBP for the authentication;
6. Wait for the release of the document.
