CONSULAR OUTREACH MISSION TO DUBLIN, 1 – 2 MARCH 2013

 

Location:

The location of the Outreach Program is: The Guild Building, Cork Street (On the junction of Ardee Street), Dublin 8.

Free Parking:

The Philippine Honorary Consul is providing approximately 50 FREE parking spaces for Filipinos attending the Outreach Program in his underground car park in the basement of the Guild Building. All Philippine Honorary Consul Visitor Parking will be clearly marked. Please be advised do not use any parking spaces that are not marked as clamping is in operation.

On Street Parking:

There is a large number of on street parking 85 meters from the Guild Building and in the event that no Philippine Honorary Consul Visitor Parking spaces are available the most convenient parking spaces are located just off Ardee street and on Cork Street.

Public Transport

The Guild Building can be easily accessed by public transport on the following Dublin bus routes:
151, 27, 56a, 77a, 77x, 150, 49.

Taxi’s

The Guild building is 450 meters walk from St. Patricks Cathedral which has a taxi rank next to it. As the Guild building very close to the Guinness Store House and the Combe Hospital and is surrounded by busy premises/shops those wishing to hale a taxi would not have to wait long outside the building. 

Money Exchange / ATM

While all attending the Outreach Program are asked to bring the exact amount in British Pounds Sterling that is required for there transaction, should for any reason those attending the Outreach Program find the need to purchase additional British Pounds Sterling or use an ATM there is a Post Office located 450 meters away at 15 Cork Street.

Refreshments

The Philippine Honorary Consul will be providing light refreshments free of charge for those attending the Outreach Program.

Opening Times / Waiting

While the Outreach Program will start at 10.00am each morning the Philippine Honorary Consul will have the doors of the building open to the Filipino Community at 9.00am to allow those who have arrived early to wait in comfort.

The Outreach Program is scheduled to start at 10:00am and run until 6:00pm on both Friday March 1st and Saturday March 2nd.

The Philippine Honorary Consul will be providing a children’s area where children’s movies will be screened, in addition to this in the general waiting area there will be family friendly Tagalog shows screened.
