The granting of Philippine visa is, in effect, only a form of pre-entry clearance. Philippine visa holders are still subject to normal immigration control at the port of entry. Philippine Immigration officers have the authority to grant or deny admission. British, Irish and Icelandic passport holders may enter and stay in the Philippines for 21 days without visa provided that they hold valid tickets for their return journey to port of origin or next port of destination, and that their passports are valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended period of stay in the Philippines.

Processing Time

Processing time for temporary visitor’s visa application normally takes two- to three-working days. For applications needing clearance from the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, processing may take one to two months.

Visa Fees

£22 for British passport holders

Collection Time

Collection time is from 4 pm to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, except during Philippine national holidays and UK bank holidays.
